We had the privilege today of welcoming Dr Aaron Bradbury to Kate Greenaway Nursery School to lead our INSET day.
Aaron invited us to pause and reflect on the importance of play in children's lives. Together, we explored how play enables children to make sense of the world, build relationships, express themselves and develop a sense of identity and belonging.
The session provided valuable opportunities for discussion and reflection, reaffirming our commitment to keeping play at the heart of our practice and ensuring that every child has the time, space and freedom to explore, imagine, create and belong.
We left the day feeling inspired, energised and excited to begin the new school year with our children and families.
